We offer all private bedrooms
Most providers have 2 or 3 residents per room. This improves quality of life, reduces behaviors, and reduces risks of peer-on-peer violence and sexual abuse.
We provide all of our own transportation
They don’t need to worry about Veyo not showing up, or the resident having a behavior at an appointment because they went without trained staff.
All homes are personal care certified
We’re the only BH Provider in Arizona with more than 100 personal care certified beds. We’re experienced in working with residents who require personal care services.
Single gender homes
All of our homes have either male or female residents. All our female homes have all-female staff, and we also have male home with all-male staff. This allows us to better support male residents with a history of sexual offenses, and female residents with a history of victimization.
Our base staffing ratio is 3:1
We invest in having more staff available to support residents than other agencies do, where staffing ratios are often 5:1 or 10:1.

24-Hour Staff Supervision
At Orion Homes, licensed staff provide customized support and supervision 24/7 based on each resident’s needs. Whether reminding, reassuring, or actively assisting residents, our team promotes self-sufficiency and skill-building within a safe environment. Compassionate care is always available.
Bathing Assistance
Caring professionals help residents with bathing and hygiene to preserve dignity while ensuring health. Services range from cues and setup to total hands-on assistance, conducted with patience and sensitivity towards resident impairments and preferences.
Medication Management
Orion nurses and staff manage medication needs from organizing refills to administration, storage, and transportation. The level of independence versus supervision/assistance is tailored to what each resident can properly handle per doctor recommendations.
Hygiene Assistance
Maintaining personal hygiene can be challenging for some individuals requiring extra support— especially those with debilitating conditions. At Orion Homes, our caring staff are available 24 hours a day to assist residents with bathing, oral care, hair washing, nail care, dressing, and other hygiene needs. We provide verbal cues or physical assistance based on each resident’s independent living skills and capabilities.
Private Bedrooms
Newly renovated bedrooms provide every resident personal space with amenities like flat screens, expanded storage, and accessible furnishings. Privacy promotes comfort, self-expression, and independence balanced by safety.
