Full-Time Assistant Manager

At Orion Homes, our stellar Assistant Managers play a pivotal support role behind the scenes, ensuring smooth daily operations within our licensed group homes. Assistant Managers carry out essential administrative and human resources tasks that allow our dynamic frontline teams the freedom to pour unconditional compassion into residents under our care.

Key Assistant Manager Responsibilities Include:

  • Recruiting top talent: From sourcing quality applicants to coordinating interviews/onboarding for new caregiver or behavioral health technician hires
  • Scheduling: Accountably tracking hours across assigned caregiver teams and ensuring adequate shift coverage for residents’ 24/7 needs
  • Payroll processing: Reviewing hours submitted, inputting PTO requests, and finalizing payroll entries each period
  • Caregiver coaching: Providing constructive feedback during evaluations while champion-ing stellar employees
  • Family liaison: Fielding inquiries, addressing grievances, and guiding services for resi-dents’ loved ones
  • Vendor relations: Managing supply chain logistics and household procurement
  • Regulatory compliance: Ensuring staff protocols, reporting, and home safety continually adhere to healthcare laws
